Personaly I think you should relese more multiplayer maps for standard edition because those maps became boring.
They do. You only need to spend like 50 bucks. And than be lucky enough that yiu can find other players with the maps.
I have the pass, and as of yet i have not played the new maps in a MP game. The only way i got to see them was in a BOT Custome game....lol. Everytime i que and a lobby has the ability to choose the new map, there are only like 3 players waiting who eventually get bored and leave. No clue what the pass was for tbh.
Hopefully their greed will make the devs of this game and other future devs have a total rethink and do things differently without the greed.
Respawn Developed the free to play APEX and in 72 hours it's hit 10 million players. Just think what Call of Duty could have been if Respawn stayed and didn't leave halfway through MW3.
I haven't tried APEX, a few of my friends have tried it and they think it's a brilliant game. It's set in the titanfall 2 era but without the titans. It looks fairly good fun but I am useless at those sorts of games because I haven't played them extensively and I am the same as you in the fact that I mostly play FIFA or CoD online, I did play the division a long time ago but stuck to the PVE rather than the PVP. I haven't bought FIFA 19 because it looks like an update patch for FIFA 18.
I think Treyarch/Activision have been stitching up their player base for a while, remember the black ops 2 or 3 Nuketown stitch up? When anyone pre ordered the game they got nuketown with it as an incentive.Wait a few months and nuketown was free to download for everyone whether they pre ordered or not. I remember laughing at my friends for their pre order antics. I have only bought one season pass and it was for Watchdogs and luckily enough it turned out worth it for me. I ignore all pre orders and season passes usually.
if there took more time to release cod by some extra month's or skip 1 year before the next release then the game was maybe coming better out then its now.
and also activision needs to chance his plan about most release a new cod titel each new year since if it take's longer and longer to make a good game that is better then before then it will take much time.
and for some systems its better to test it good.
also if there wane make a battle royal cod titel then it most be for free to play and like you see now with APEX it hits a much large player base and treyarch and activision never will get this type player base more for blackout maybe if there take there time is to make a good cod titel then it was no problem.
few years ago it was much time there have to make a game but now with stronger concole's with better stuff there can use to make a game it will also take lots off time to make a good game and this is something activison not care's about and if it keeps on like this way then we gone see the end off call of duty maybe soon.
I agree because I think the publishers more than the devs want a yearly release because it guarantees them money. I honestly think they'd be better off skipping a year or 2 and taking their time to make a game that is different but still has the Call of Duty identity. If they made the game to the best of their ability I think they would make enough money to make up for the loss of not releasing a Call of Duty game for a few years.
I think Call of Duty started dying after the release of MW3 and it hasn't really recovered from it. Ghost was terrible, then came the jet-packs, the specialists and now a mediocre Black Ops 3.5. They need to stop rushing out games just for the money and make a game that they can improve on and follow up on for 2 years until they release the next version of Call of Duty.
